In vitro fertilization (IVF)

IVF – In vitro fertilization

In Vitro Fertilization is a form of Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART) usually referred to as IVF. It involves combining eggs and sperm outside the body in a laboratory. Once an embryo or embryos are created, they are then placed in the uterus.

IVF is indicated for intend parents who have been diagnosed with certain conditions restricting them from conceiving a baby, such as: endometriosis, low sperm count or quality, fallopian tube damage or blockage, ovulation disorders, premature ovarian failure, uterine fibroids, previous tubal sterilization or removal , unexplained infertility, etc.

Sometimes, IVF is offered as a primary treatment for infertility in women over age 40. If intended parents are at risk of passing on a genetic disorder to their child, they may be candidates for Preimplantation Genetic Diagnosis (PGD) that involves IVF. We offer IVF with PGD in several branches: New Life Mexico, New Life Ukraine, New Life East-West Asia.

IVF usually is proceeded other less invasive treatment options, like intrauterine insemination or using fertility drugs to increase production of eggs. It can be carried out with own eggs or with donor eggs if indicated.

At New Life we apply the latest technologies in the field of artificial reproduction, aiming at the highest clinical standards. Our scientific staff has long experience and collaborates with partners on a global level, providing our patients with high quality treatments in discretion and respect.

Success Rate

We are proud to declare that our IVF success rates are among the highest in the field. We have set ourselves apart as one of the leaders in IVF and egg donation success rates. Maintenance of our high success rate is ensured by using state of the art technologies, employing professional staff, committing to ongoing learning and following international standards.

There are various factors that affect outcome of IVF, such as: age, quality and number of eggs, ongoing disease and conditions, etc. Generally speaking, the success rate is about 50- 60 % per started cycle, meaning that we have a lot intended parents who have succeeded at very first attempt and at the same time we do have some who have to undergo several tries.

We usually calculated and analyze the pregnancy results at the end of each year based on the procedures conducted with us. The procedures for the New Life patients can be divided into 6 categories , therefore the success rate vary per particular procedure:

1.Fresh IVF/ICSI, with patient’s own oocytes, with SM;
2.Fresh IVF/ICSI, with ED, without SM;
3.Fresh IVF/ICSI, with ED, with SM;
4.Frozen embryo transfer (FET), with patient’s own oocytes, with SM;
5.FET, with ED, without SM;
6.FET, with ED, with SM.

It’s worth mentioning that we have thought about our intended parents who would like to ensure the outcome of their programs while using surrogate and egg donor and have designed special program : Guaranteed Baby Program with unlimited number of IVFs in Ukraine and South-West Asia branches and we encourage our intended parents to discuss the details with follow up coordinators.
